Electric cars tailored for all, thanks to the new partnership agreement between Enel and ALD Automotive, of the French banking group Société Généralé, which specialises in mobility, rental and fleet management services.
The two partners presented in Rome three new packages suitable for every type of customer, including large corporations, SMEs, independent professionals and the private sector. This is the first launching of such a differentiated commercial business plan on the Italian market, allowing a change in the large-scale driving habits, instead of just addressing customers that are particularly interested in eco-sustainable solutions.
The E-Go Ricaricar deal addresses consumer customers, offering them the possibility of buying ‘packages’ of kilometres for rental – with an exclusively available selected vehicle - and ‘packages’ of kilometres on a digital platform, according to their mobility needs, using a ‘pay per use’ system.
E-Go Noleggio a Lungo Termine is the long-term rental product for mobility that comprises a vehicle, a charging infrastructure - including inspection and installation, insurance services, assistance and maintenance.
Finally, E-Go Car sharing is designed to offer a zero-emission corporate car sharing service, allowing larger companies to have an electric car fleet with recharging stations at their headquarters.
In addition, with the app (My E-go) for services, customers can, among other things, locate charging columns, monitor routes and manage vehicles in car sharing.
“Electric mobility is now a viable alternative especially for those who want to travel in a sustainable way and it is no longer a tool available to a few enthusiasts. For this reason Enel was the first utility company to sign agreements with the major automotive manufacturers for the development of electric cars in special editions”, explained Enel's Market Italy Manager Nicola Lanzetta. “The agreement with ALD allows us to continue in this direction by adding services specifically designed to meet the needs of different types of customers, from the private sector, SMEs and big companies.”
