On July 5, the Enel Bari PLANT hosted the meeting "Moving City: Urban regeneration and brownfield sites", promoted by Enel together with the Municipality and the university of Puglia.
On Tuesday, July 5 the Enel Bari plant opened its doors to students of Architecture and architectural composition II of Construction Engineering Architecture of the Polytechnic of Bari, first listening meeting of the redevelopment process regarding the plant involved in the Futur-e project.
The occasion of the engagement was given by the conference "Moving City: Urban regeneration and brownfield sites", organised by Enel together with the City and Polytechnic of Bari: a day of meetings and round tables dedicated to the redevelopment of industrial sites, the programme of the General Urban Plan (PUG) and the proposals of the Polytechnic students on the future of the Enel power plant.
The Futur-e project was presented by Matteo Bettini Judge of Bari and Rossano, with the opening speech of the day starting at 10.
The day's agenda continued with speeches from Stefano Stanghellini, professor of Estimate at the University IUAV of Venice, on "The general objectives of the PUG" and Giuseppe Fragassopresident of the National Association of Construction Manufacturers of Bari ( ANCE), on "Urban regeneration: opportunities for business."
The event in Bari also involved the inhabitants of the city in Pugliawho, in the afternoon, were invited to take part in the public debate consisting in an open discussion on redevelopment projects proposed by the students of the Polytechnic.
