The new hires continue the generational turnover undertaken by e-distribuzione. Local operating units are bolstered with new skills.
Rome, August 11th, 2016 Enels subsidiary e-distribuzione (since June 30th, the new name of Enel Distribuzione, the Group company that operates the electricity distribution grid in Italy) is hiring new personnel. The effort is focused on 375 technical school graduates, aged 18 to 29, that have just joined the company on 36-month apprenticeship contracts with operating units around the country.
The apprentices will enter a programme designed to give them the technical know-how they need to work successfully and safely on electrical equipment. The programme will alternate class-room training with experience in the field, using the teaching programme as a way to involve the apprentices in the real work of the company in a protected environment under the supervision of expert personnel.
The aim of the programme is to develop a broad range of skills and to instil personal conduct in line with company values, safety first and foremost.
The 2016 hires thus continue the process of generational turnover begun in 2014, with the goal of contributing to the cultural change and ongoing evolution of the company.
