Enel wins the Golden Doors. The corporate advertising campaign “Open doors,” by Saatchi & Saatchi, was awarded first prize in the Craft-Direction and Animation category of the ADCI Award 2017.

The award created by the Italian Art Directors Club has been a point of reference for the creativity and quality of advertising in Italy for more than thirty years. The ceremony was held on 30 September at the Franco Parenti Theatre in Milan, at the conclusion of the fourth edition of the IF! Italians Festival, an event involving artists and professionals working in the field from all over the world.

According to Andrea Stillacci, President of the ADCI Awards 2017, Herezie Group founder and CEO, one of the most important independent French advertising agencies, “Open Doors,” with its simple and straightforward concept - doors that become thresholds of light toward a sustainable future - has proven to have an international breadth.

Enel’s TV spot has been broadcast also in Chile, on the occasion of the corporate rebranding in the South American country. After being adapted with a Spanish speaker and music and including references to electric mobility in Santiago, the basic format was kept, in line with the Italian campaign.

“We are honored to have received the ADCI 2017 Award for the Craft-Direction and Animation category,” commented Laura Paggetti, Italy Country Advertising Manager at Enel. “Our goal is to make the world of energy increasingly clear and accessible, thanks to the development of a communication strategy that we called Open Power: we want to be open to the new stimuli of digitalisation, as well as of environmental sustainability, to become increasingly more dynamic and responsive.

Now, Enel’s neon doors, prepared from the first launch even at the Rome headquarters, will have the gold of victory among its shades of colours.
