“The forces that move history are the same that make man happy.” This is the theme at the heart of the 39th edition of the Meeting for Friendship among Peoples, scheduled to take place at the Rimini Exhibition Centre from 19 to 25 August. The event is a great celebration at the end of summer dedicated above all to young people. And this year too, it can count on Enel’s support.

Culture, values and responsibility are the pillars that drive us to collaborate with the leading Italian and international institutions in the implementation of innovative projects that can help us offer people a new and future-oriented vision of energy.

Since 1979, the Meeting has drawn thousands of people from all over the world (800,000 people from about 70 countries at last year’s edition), engaging them in a week of events, debates and initiatives to stimulate reflection on pertinent international and current issues, through discussions with institutions, organisations and representatives from the political, economic and social spheres.

For this edition of the Meeting, our company will be present at the Rimini Exhibition Centre with stands informing visitors about the world of Enel and its manifold activities through illustrative panels that answer the question What’s Your Power?, the theme of our current institutional advertising campaign.

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about our company’s strategy to promote the development of renewable energy through the work of Enel Green Power in Italy and around the world. They will also be able to discover the latest innovations in electric mobility and energy efficiency from Enel X, Enel’s latest addition: a global factory of smart, sustainable and innovative technological solutions to change the way we use energy and contribute to building a better world.

There will also be a focus on our initiatives to care for our people, not only in terms of health and safety in the workplace, but in terms of improving their work-life balance and to value diversity and inclusion, all keystones of our corporate culture. Enel’s exhibition stands will also present the Enel Cuore and Reggio Children project, “Fare Scuola” (Making School), to renovate and “reinvent” the learning environments of 70 pre-schools and elementary schools throughout Italy.

The Enel area will be an open space for us to inform others and explain the power in which we believe: the power of our ongoing commitment to seeking the most sustainable and innovative solutions and to contributing to the economic and social development of the communities in which we operate, while fully respecting the environment.
