Energy for Growth: training key players in the energy transition

{{item.title}}

The development of increasingly efficient, digitalized, resilient, and carbon-free electricity grid infrastructure is an enabler of the energy transition process. It is for this reason that we’re committed, through ELIS, to helping meet the growing demand for professionals to be trained and employed within our partner companies operating in the infrastructure and networks field. We’re looking for people with a high level of technical specialization, in addition to digital skills.

With the help of recruitment agencies and specific Accredia-certified organizations, during 2022 and 2023 ELIS will select 5,500 young people throughout Italy to be hired by the companies that work with us, following a five-week theoretical and practical course. The objective is to offer high quality training to individuals so as to enable them to fulfil key operational roles (Cable Installer, Cable Jointer, Secondary Substation and Pole Transformer Installer, LV Live Operator).

“This initiative narrows the gap between training and the world of work, thereby giving a boost to the country system and further input for the energy transition.”
– Nicola Lanzetta, Head of Country Italy

The courses are free with expenses reimbursed up to a certain amount. On completion of the course, participants might be hired by our partner companies on a fixed-term, six-month contract with the possibility of it being extended.
