Rome, 13 July 2006 ¡V Enel today finalised the acquisition a French company specialised in the development of wind plants, for 14.2 million euro. The transaction involves 100% of the shares of the company, 94% of which had been held by Chantre Davaniere SA and 6% by Axenne Sarl.
This operation brings Enel into the promising wind power market in France, which is growing rapidly and has considerable potential. Erelis, which is based in Lyon, was established in 2002.
