Rome, December 24, 2007 As an aid to the financial community, Enel S.p.A. announces its financial calendar for 2008, indicating when the Companys and/or Groups accounts will be examined by the Board of Directors:
January 31, 2008: preliminary consolidated data for the year ended December 31, 2007.
March 12, 2008: consolidated financial statements of the Enel Group, proposed statutory financial statements of Enel S.p.A. for the year ended December 31, 2007 and proposed allocation of net income.
May 13, 2008: report on the first quarter 2008.
July 31, 2008: half-year report as of June 30, 2008.
November 11, 2008: report on the third quarter 2008.
Pursuant to Art. 82 of CONSOB Resolution 11971/1999, the Company intends to avail itself of the exemption from publication of quarterly report as of December 31, 2007.
In conjunction with the publication of the annual results for the year ended December 31, 2007, and of the half-year report for the six months ended June 30, 2008, the Company has planned specific meetings with the financial community and the media, during which the Companys and/or Groups accounts and corporate strategies will be presented.
On the occasion of the publication of the quarterly reports for 2008, the Company plans to organize special conference calls in order to present the relevant data to financial analysts and institutional investors.
A General Meeting of Shareholders to pass resolutions regarding approval of the statutory financial statements of Enel S.p.A. for the year ended December 31, 2007, and on the allocation of net income, is scheduled for April 22 and 28, 2008, on first and second call, respectively.
Payment of dividends during the year 2008 is scheduled as follows:
- June 26, 2008: payment of balance dividend for 2007, with the ex-dividend date falling on June 23, 2008;
- November 27, 2008: payment of interim dividend for 2008, with the ex-dividend date falling on November 24, 2008.
The market will be in due time notified of any changes to the above arrangements.
For the dissemination to the public and the storage of regulated information made available to the public, Enel S.p.A. has decided to use respectively the platforms “eMarket SDIR” and “eMarket Storage”, both available at the address www.emarketstorage.com and managed by Teleborsa S.r.l. - with registered office in Rome, at 4 Piazza Priscilla - as per CONSOB authorization and resolutions n. 22517 and 22518 of November 23, 2022.
From May 19th 2014 to June 30th 2015, Enel S.p.A. used the authorized mechanism for the storage of regulated information denominated “1Info”, available at the address www.1info.it, managed by Computershare S.p.A. with registered office in Milan and authorized by Consob with resolution No. 18852 of April 9th, 2014.
