RIMINI MEETING: ENEL AND THE YOUNG PEOPLE’S VILLAGE

Enel informs young people about energy through creative workshops and experiments that spread the word about how to use electricity rationally while respecting the environment

Rome, August 20th, 2009 - Enel is at the 30th Rimini Meeting, which runs this year between 23rd and 29th August, as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to promoting scientific culture and a creative approach to energy.

After last year’s success, Enel is once again organizing the Young People’s Village, a pavilion dedicated to children and young people from the age of five and up. Over the seven-day event, from morning to evening the pavilion hosts scientific experiments, free expression activities, guided itineraries, and games revolving around the world of energy and energy saving.

Enel is delighted to support and host activities at the Rimini Meeting, which provides an opportunity for people of different cultures and approaches to meet, debate and compare views. Enel brings to the event its knowledge and expertise of energy as a driver of environmentally-compatible human development.

This initiative is part of Enel’s broader Energiaper programme in support of culture, music, scientific research, the environment and sport. The programme promotes integrated communications projects in partnership with major public and private institutions and local development-oriented organizations.
