EGPs total installed capacity in North America increases to 1,088 MW.
Rome and Pincher Creek, Canada, May 31st, 2012 The Castle Rock Ridge Wind Farm, located in the town of Pincher Creek in Canadas southwestern Alberta region, has been connected to the grid.
The new wind facility has a total capacity of 76 MW. The 33 turbines of the wind farm will be able to generate over 200 million kWh each year, avoiding the atmospheric emission of more than 130 thousand tons of CO2 annually.
With Castle Rock Ridge, Enel Green Power has increased its installed capacity to 124 MW in Canada, while the Groups total installed capacity in North America has reached 1,088 MW.
