Rome, April 28th, 2014 Enel SpA (Enel) hereby informs that today a group of 19 mutual funds and other institutional investors (1), which together own approximately 1.255% of Enel SpAs share capital, filed a slate of candidates for the office of Director, in view of the renewal of the Companys Board of Directors (whose term is expiring) put on the agenda at the Annual General Shareholders Meeting convened on next May 22nd in a single call. Such slate is composed of the following candidates:
1. Angelo Taraborrelli (*);
2. Anna Chiara Svelto (*);
3. Alessandro Banchi (*).
(*) Candidate who declared to hold the independence requirements provided for by the law (articles 147-ter, paragraph 4 and 148, paragraph 3 of the Unified Financial Act) and article 3 of the Italian Corporate Governance Code.
The above mentioned slate and the relevant accompanying documentation will be made publicly available by the deadline provided for by the law at the companys headquarters, on the Borsa Italiana S.p.A. website (www.borsaitaliana.it) and on the Enels website (www.enel.com).
