Rome, July 1st, 2016 Following up on the press release of June 9th, Enel S.p.A. (Enel) announces that the period of exclusive negotiations with F2i SGR S.p.A. and CDP Equity S.p.A./FSI Investimenti S.p.A., the shareholders of Metroweb Italia S.p.A. (Metroweb) for the possible business integration between Enels subsidiary Enel OpEn Fiber S.p.A. and Metroweb has been extended to July 20th, 2016 from July 3rd.
The transaction is still subject to the approval of the Enel Board of Directors, following a non-binding reasoned opinion of the Related Parties Committee.
