The Futur-e circular economy project is the result of teamwork and sharing; work that begins in the company and involves a wide range of different professions and local organisations.
The real protagonists are our managers, engineers and technicians: a blended team of people working together to bring new life to decommissioned power stations and other sites by seeking out the most innovative and sustainable solutions in synergy with local communities. The latter are co-protagonists in the Futur-e project: representatives of local institutions and civil society, as well as researchers and academics, with whom we are constantly interacting in order to map out the journey to rebirth for 23 decommissioned power stations and one former mining district.
