The Enel Group is the most attractive utility for Italian students preparing for their first job. The ranking compiled by Universum Global, specialised in employer branding, confirms it, after the agency also recognised us as the utility most highly thought of by Italian science and technology professionals last December.
The Most Attractive Employer 2020 survey, which is now in its twelfth edition, was carried out on a sample of 36,000 students from 48 universities all over Italy. For the first time, our Group also made the global top ten for students in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).
Professional challenges, opportunities for career growth and a competitive salary are the most important elements for Generation Z. Today’s university students appear to be less interested in the concept of a steady job for life, but rather seek employers that will allow them to travel, learn and respect a good work/life balance.
The ranking is an accolade to the work of our Recruiting team and confirms the dialogue we opened some time ago with Millennials and post-Millennials, who now associate our Group with innovation, the use of new technologies and a focus on the professional development of our employees.
Another Universum survey was carried out on a sample group of 8,000 young workers and around 4,000 senior professionals. In this case, Enel ranked first in the Industry/Utility sector, seventh in the top 30 companies for workers in the STEM sectors and thirteenth for women in the same field.
