The value of corporate transparency

The integrity kit for companies is here. After the forum promoted in October by Transparency International Italy, where 13 Italian large companies, including Enel, signed a self-regulation agreement on transparency and integrity for the private sector, now all documents related to the ethical procedures to be followed are online.

Transparency International, an anti-corruption network present in over 100 countries, aims to offer the business integrity tools laid down at an international level to the greatest possible number of companies.

In Italy, twelve large companies have subscribed to it, besides Enel: Assicurazioni Generali, Edison, Falck Renewables, Italcementi Group, Kpmg Italia, Luxottica, Pirelli, Salini Impregilo, Snam, Terna, Tim and Vodafone.

The Business Integrity Kit consists of General Ethical Principles, a Reporting system, Integrity pacts and Directions to make the proposed tools operational and on how to adopt them. Every subscriber to the project is called upon to implement or adjust the criteria based on the peculiarities of their industry or activity.

For players on the market, committing to the highest principles of transparency and ethics means not only paying attention to their communication and image, but also help making their business stronger.
