For young Italian professionals working in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines, our Group is still the most attractive company in the utilities sector. This was confirmed by the 2021 ranking of Universum Global, the world’s leading agency in the field of employer branding, which last year named us the most appreciated utility company.
The survey of the Most Attractive Employers for Italian Professionals 2021, which is now in its sixth edition, was conducted by compiling the preferences of over 15 thousand employees with 1-5 years of experience, from 35 sectors and 88 occupational fields spread throughout the country. Our Group has been confirmed as Top of Industry in the utilities sector. This year we also reached the podium in the ranking of most all-around attractive companies for young STEM professionals, where we ranked third.
According to the survey, a stimulating professional environment, growth opportunities and work that enhances talent are among the preferred attributes of Gen Z professionals, together with innovation, the use of new technologies and ongoing training.
These values are at the core of the Open Power approach, as the #EssereEnel (“Being Enel”) campaign clearly illustrates, and which on the occasion of the awards event, on Friday November 26, was listed among the best practices in communication in the field of employer branding.
