Rome, December 22, 2008 As a guide to the financial community, Enel S.p.A. announces its financial calendar for 2009, indicating when the Companys and/or Groups accounts will be examined by the Board of Directors:
February 3, 2009: preliminary consolidated data for the year ended December 31, 2008.
March 11, 2009: consolidated financial statements of the Enel Group, proposed statutory financial statements of Enel S.p.A. for the year ended December 31, 2008 and proposed allocation of net income.
May 12, 2009: interim financial report at March 31, 2009.
July 30, 2009: half-year financial report at June 30, 2009.
November 12, 2009: interim financial report at September 30, 2009.
In conjunction with the publication of the annual results for the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company has planned a special meeting with the financial community and the media, during which the Companys and/or Groups accounts and corporate strategies will be presented.
On the publication of the half-year financial report and interim financial reports for 2009, the Company plans to organize special conference calls in order to present the relevant data to financial analysts and institutional investors.
A General Meeting of Shareholders to resolve on the approval of the statutory financial statements of Enel S.p.A. for the year ended December 31, 2008, and on the allocation of net income, is scheduled for April 27 and 29, 2009, on first and second call, respectively.
Payment of dividends during the year 2009 is scheduled as follows:
* June 25, 2009: payment of final dividend for 2008, with the ex-dividend date falling on June 22, 2009;
* November 26, 2009: payment of interim dividend for 2009, with the ex-dividend date falling on November 23, 2009.
The market will be notified in due time of any changes to the above calendar.
For the dissemination to the public and the storage of regulated information made available to the public, Enel S.p.A. has decided to use respectively the platforms “eMarket SDIR” and “eMarket Storage”, both available at the address www.emarketstorage.com and managed by Teleborsa S.r.l. - with registered office in Rome, at 4 Piazza Priscilla - as per CONSOB authorization and resolutions n. 22517 and 22518 of November 23, 2022.
From May 19th 2014 to June 30th 2015, Enel S.p.A. used the authorized mechanism for the storage of regulated information denominated “1Info”, available at the address www.1info.it, managed by Computershare S.p.A. with registered office in Milan and authorized by Consob with resolution No. 18852 of April 9th, 2014.
