ENEL GREEN POWER: TWO LONG-TERM AGREEMENTS TO SUPPLY WIND ENERGY IN MEXICO

Long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) signed with Delphi and Banamex for an overall amount of approx. 485 million U.S. dollars
The energy sold will come from the Dominica 100 MW wind farm that Enel Green Power will start building in coming months in the Mexican state of San Luis Potosí, requiring an estimated investment of 196 million U.S. dollars

Rome/Mexico City, July 18th, 2013 – Enel Green Power, through its subsidiaries Impulsora Nacional de Electricidad S.de R.L. de C.V. and Dominica Energia Limpia S.de R.L. de C.V (“Dominica Energia Limpia”) has reached two power purchase agreements (PPA) with Delphi Automotive PLC, a leading automotive supplier, and with Banamex, one of Mexico’s largest banks.

The long-term supply contracts are worth around 485 million U.S. dollars. The energy sold will be generated at the new Dominica wind farm that Enel Green Power, through Dominica Energia Limpia, will start to build in coming months in the Mexican state of San Luis Potosí, requiring an estimated investment of 196 million U.S. dollars.

The new wind farm will have an installed capacity of 100 MW and a load factor of more than 30%, thereby avoiding the emission of 157 thousand tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Enel Green Power’s installed capacity in Mexico currently amounts to an approximate 197 MW of which 144 MW from wind and 53 MW from hydro.
