Make a note in your diary for the third “Fuoricinema,” an event celebrating the big screen taking place from 14 to 16 September in the CityLife district of Milan. It is supported by Enel Energia, the Enel Group company that operates in the free market.

The theme of the event, which is based on an idea first put forward in 2016 by Cristiana Capotondi and Cristiana Mainardi, will be time in all its aspects: time as history and memory, identity and future – and time as energy, as expressed by Einstein’s famous formula, E=mc2.

A discussion under the title of “The Digital Spectacle” is scheduled to take place at 12.00 am on 16 September, and will be led by Massimo Sideri of Italy’s Corriere della Sera newspaper, in which will be taking part Frank Matano, Niccolò Vecchiotti, CEO and Founder of NewCo Management, and Paolo Bonifati, Head of North-East macro area Mercato Italia.

The event, which is produced by Fuoricinema Srl, Associazione Visione Milano, Corriere della Sera and CityLife, includes encounters, debates, national film premieres and fundraising activities in a non-stop marathon that is open to all. All the events are free and will create a forum for interaction between audience and artists, allowing to raise funds for non-profit organisations in collaboration with the worlds of fashion, food and design.

The money raised by the 2018 event will go towards the creation of a cinema in Bollate prison and will also be supported by a charity marketplace.

Thanks to Enel, this cinematic experience is sure to have a happy ending.
