The contest

On 13 July 2020 Enel Produzione S.p.A., a company that is part of the Enel S.p.A. Group, launched a competitive, transparent and non-discriminatory Design Contest that was open to private companies, for the architectural and landscape redevelopment of the Brindisi industrial site.

 

Latest updates

Following the deadline for entries on 30 June 2021, the Selection Committee, which consisted of Enel representatives, decision-makers from local Institutions and experts from the Salento University in Lecce, compiled the following ranking on 16 September 2021. It is based on criteria of environmental and social sustainability and aspects of technological innovation, design and visual impact (as outlined in Article. 5.2 of the contest announcement):

First place: Architect Marina Gousia

Second place: SDARCH Trivelli & Associati

Third place: Marta Maria Roy Torrecilla (Kartonkraft), Daniela Maiullari, Daniele Cannatella, Raffaella Amistà, Eugenio Muccio, Philippe Audernarde D’Alancon, Thuy Trang Thrin
